DIRECTIONS

 Our farm is located in Chelsea, MI, about half-way between Ann Arbor and Jackson along I-94.  The directions are as follows:

The farm is on the south (right) side of the road.  You will know it by the white fences.  The address is 14091 Scio Church Road.

There is an electric gate that is opened by pressing the button on the left side of the driveway.  When leaving, the gate will open automatically when a vehicle is driven up even with the last reflectors on the driveway.

For locals, the farm is 9 miles west of the intersection of Zeeb and Scio Church.

After coming in, follow the driveway around to the left until it gets to the stable.

 

HOTELS

There are two hotels in Chelsea, and both of them are about 4.5 miles from the farm on the north side of I-94 and M-52.  They are the Holiday Express (734-433-1600) and the Comfort Inn (734-433-8000.

OTHER STUFF

For this clinic, the stall fee is $10 per horse per day/night.  Shavings are $15 initially and $5 for each additional bag that you use.

You needn’t bring any mucking tools, nor water or grain buckets.  Each stall has a heated automatic waterer and a grain bucket, and I will supply any mucking equipment you need.  Do bring hay and grain (and tack).

Two more things:  you’ll need a current (this calendar year) negative Coggins certificate, and please do not bring any pets to the farm.
